In this interview Katie Mleziva of The Levers Marketing and Jennifer talk about what it takes to be successful on Amazon, the advantages and disadvantages of each of Amazon’s sales platforms, and where Amazon is going in the near future.

Katie Mleziva is an independent brand strategy consultant who helps natural food companies become category leaders in both philosophy and growth. Katie is shaking up shopping carts as the host of the Real Food Brands Marketing Podcast, which offers actionable insights to help natural food and beverage companies create strong brands and integrated marketing plans that connect not only with consumers, but also stakeholders including buyers, suppliers, investors and influencers.  She has over 15 years of experience in brand management and marketing across a range of popular brands, from Fortune 500 consumer package goods companies to local startups.

Katie lives in a suburb on Milwaukee, WI with her husband, two kids and an energetic old dog.  She is committed to making a positive impact within her community, and in 2013 she founded Sunbeam Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that plans projects and offers DIY ideas to make it easy for families volunteer together.

Their goal is to give kids of all ages confidence they can make a difference by lending a little hand.
