In this episode we host Lori Lochtefeld, 2017’s Red Wood City Business Woman of the Year. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and has spent much of her career in the real estate industry. Recently, however, she has taken to flipping performance theaters. She bought her first theater for $5M and sold it years later for $20M.
Now she is starting a new charity called West Coast Theater which is based on a Tom’s Shoes model. For every child that purchases a pair of ballet shoes, 1 child from foster care will be brought into the production of a new performance and have the opportunity to work with lighting, sound, setting, and all of the things required to get a new show ready for the public.
